The Givora Foundation’s only goal is to help those in need.
Mission Statement

As of 2025, it is estimated that 1 in 4 New Yorkers lives below the poverty line. It is also estimated that nearly 350,000 individuals are without a home in New York City. The Givora Foundation wishes to address these issues. Our mission is to collaborate with local communities and partners to offer help to those in need-whether they are affected by homelessness, domestic violence, poverty, or any other circumstance that limits their access to basic living. We strive to ensure equitable distribution of the resources and services we organize, and at all times endeavor to uphold our core values of compassion, integrity, and a commitment to empowerment for all individuals during their times of need.
Our Story
In Mid-2024, our founder Kei Lam, along with 6 others, came together with a single goal in mind, to help others. The Givora Foundation was formed to address the immediate and ongoing needs of individuals and families facing economic hardship. Through fundraising events and donation drives, we collect vital supplies such as food, clothing, hygiene products, and other essential items. These resources are then distributed to a variety of shelters, organizations, and community centers that provide critical services to those in need. In addition to gathering supplies, fundraisers hosted of monetary value will have all proceeds going towards buying even more resources to donate, or donated to other organizations with similar mission statements. Our focus is on ensuring that these resources reach the most vulnerable populations in New York, the state with the second highest level of homelessness.
